Outdoor Dog Kennels and Runs:

Outdoor dog kennels and runs give your pet freedom and fresh air while allowing you to feel at ease knowing he is safe and secure in the kennel.  Some of the most popular types of outdoor kennels are chain link dog kennels and runs.  Chain link offers value as well as a durable and reliable material for a dog kennel.

Options for Building an Outdoor Dog Kennel:

There are many methods to building outdoor dog kennels and runs.  You can build a kennel by scratch, have one built for you, or use a pre-made kit that offers simple and easy set-up.  Like everything else in this world, each method has some advantages and disadvantages to it.  Here are some of the ones that I believe are important when it comes to choosing an outdoor, or chain link dog kennel for your pet:
  • Building Outdoor Dog Kennels and Runs from Scratch - I believe that this is a great method if you are very handy and like things built the way you want them.  The materials necessary to build chain link dog kennels are readily available and not too expensive.  This is great if you have a particular size you need the kennel, like an existing concrete pad.  The disadvantages to this method are the fact that it does require a lot of work and is very time consuming.  It can also get expensive depending on how you build it.
  • Having a Chain Link Dog Kennel Built For You - This is the best method by far if you have a unique design you want and do not want to do the work.  It also requires a lot more money and is the most expensive way for adding an outdoor dog kennel to your home, but if you have money to spare, then this method is definitely something worth looking at.
  • Pre-Made Chain Link and Outdoor Dog Kennel Kits:  These are great options and the option I recommend for most people.  They are also the types of kennels that you will see in the selection above.  The reason I recommend these types of outdoor dog kennels for most people is that they are easy to set up and are durable, very cost effective, and offer a good strong place for your pet to play.  The chain link dog kennels and runs and other outdoor models available here are of the highest quality available.  The only disadvantage that I see in these kennels is that they are limited to the sizes and shapes available from the manufacturer, but there are still a lot of options as far as that goes.  That is why I recommend them for most canine owners, and actually use one myself.
Sincerely,

Bob Jones
