Soft dog crates have been growing in popularity
over the last few years. A soft crate is wonderful for
pets and pet owner's who spend a lot of time in the outdoors and like to

Why Choose a Soft Dog Crate?
Soft sided dog crates offer a light and portable home for your canine. That is the greatest feature they offer in my opinion. Great for Camping - If you are like me and love to be in the outdoors with your canines, then one of the best things ever invented is a soft crate. Soft sided models are just like a portable tent for your pet. They will keep him or her safe and many come with tent stakes to secure it to the ground.
Portability - I have probably mentioned this a few times above, but it is by far the most convenient feature they offer. Soft sided dog crates fold nicely and are easily transported. They are much lighter and easier to move than a bulky plastic crate, and obviously lighter than wire crates.
Storage - Most high quality soft dog crates (The Travel Lite Does Not) like the ones here offer zippered storage compartments for storing treats, toys, and anything else you can think of. They really do come in handy.
Heavy Duty Fabric and Frames - Probably the best reason to spend a few extra dollars to get a high quality soft sided crate. The soft dog crates here are made from 600 denier polyester or a similar type of fabric and are water resistant. A strong frame is a necessary component you need to keep you from replacing your crate all too soon, and the soft crates found here offer just that.
Good Looking - Soft Sided Dog Crates are simply much better looking than a plastic or wire version. Their tent like appearance makes them much more like home and less like a cage.
Other Considerations Concerning a Soft Dog Crate:
Not For Chewing Dogs! - No matter how tough the fabric is on a soft sided dog crate, it is no match for a good set of puppy teeth or untrained adult teeth. If you have a puppy or grown canine that likes to chew, then I would consider a different type until your pup is trained and out of the chewing phase.
Not Approved for Air Travel - Soft dog crates are not approved by airlines, and if you are looking for a crate for that particular use, then check out the great plastic models available.
