Pet Gear products ship directly from the manufacturer (Pet Gear). This allows me to bypass all middle men, including shipping costs to myself before shipping them to you.
There is one drawback from having the products shipped directly from Pet Gear. The drawback is that their return policy and exchange policy is not very consumer friendly.
There is a 30% Restocking Fee on all products that are returned or exchanged, and the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. This policy is non-negotiable, and it is what I am billed. Unfortunately, to keep my website running, I must honor the policy and pass the costs down to you. If I paid them out of my pocket, I would be out of business very fast.
There is also no tolerance for products that have even been slightly used. One pet hair can and will void any refund for a returned or exchanged item. This is true. They have denied me credit for products that had one hair or the smell of a pet on them.
Please make sure you are ordering the correct product when choosing a Pet Gear product. I am able to offer some of, if not the lowest prices on their products anywhere because I work directly with them, but please beware of this policy if you are considering returning a product.
Measuring your pet is the best way to avoid ordering an incorrect size. If you would like any help when it comes to choosing the right size or product for your pet, please contact me. I will be happy to help you out. Also, I have a supplier that offers their products, but they are much much more expensive. The return policy is a bit less harsh, but if you think you would rather me sacrifice price for a better return policy on these products, let me know. I appreciate any feedback on any product.
