Store Policies & Return Policies
FREE Shipping - Applies to Ground Shipping in the 48 Continental U.S. States Only. Express Shipping and Shipping to Canada, Hawaii, Alaska, and other select locations is available at additional shipping costs. Please contact me, and I will get a quote for you.
SHIPPING COSTS ARE NOT REFUNDABLE: (Does not apply to manufacturer's defects) Even items that are marked FREE SHIPPING have shipping costs that I pay, and these costs will be billed to you in the event of a returned product. Unfortunately the shipping companies do not really work for free, but instead of adding these costs at checkout, they are covered in the cost of the product to make it easier for you to know the final cost without having to go through the checkout process and find out that there is an "oversize" shipping charge. Due to the volume of products my suppliers ship, they receive discounted shipping costs that they pass down to me, and I pass down to you in the cost of the price.
- NOTE: Most smaller items have a discounted flat rate, around $10 that is not refundable. Many large items are very heavy or bulky (Plastic Crates, Houses, and Outdoor Kennels Especially). These price of these items does include an "oversize" shipping charge. This charge is non-refundable as well. I hope you understand that I would refund everything if I could, but I would quickly be out of business if I paid for all of these charges. My profit margins are not high, and I don't want them to be. I am here to help other pet lovers out.
- MY ADVISE TO YOU: The best advice I have to avoid these non-refundable shipping costs is to PLEASE make sure you are selecting the crate, house, or kennel you really want, and to PLEASE measure your pet before making your purchase. I am able and willing to help, so please contact me if you have any questions.
Shipping Policy
Canine Crate Store is owned and operated my me only. In order to make this work, I have partnered with some of the best wholesale suppliers, and manufacturers of pet products to provide you with a great selection of the best quality products. In order to keep the costs low to both you and I, the items here are shipped to you directly from these wholesalers and manufacturers. It's a win win situation for us all. You get customer service from me only, and products at near wholesale prices, I don't have any overhead and can offer the products to you at lower prices, and the wholesalers move products out of their warehouses. Because of this however, please see the Return Policy below if you would like to return an item.
Shipping Notes:
Items are
shipped to you from the various wholesalers and manufacturers of the
products. Items are generally shipped via UPS Ground to locations in
the 48 Contiguous U.S. States.
- Express Shipping: UPS Next Day Air, 2nd Day
Air and Other Express options are available. Please Contact Me for a
quote.
- Shipments to Canada,
Alaska, and Hawaii: Please Contact Me for a
quote. Many items are too big, bulky, or weigh too much to be shipped
to these locations at a reasonable cost to you, but please don't
hesitate to ask, and we will provide you with the most accurate
information possible. Most smaller items can be shipped but do have
additional charges.
Shipping Time. The time needed to ship merchandise will vary
depending on the shipment's location and the particular time of year.
Shipping Methods. All orders will be shipped UPS ground, or the
preferred method of the particular supplier of your product, unless other shipping methods are
specified. You will be able to track your shipment through UPS.
Damaged Shipments. Damaged shipments from handling must be
claimed with the freight carrier. If any cartons are missing or damaged,
be sure to note this on the freight bill. If you notice concealed
damage after the driver has left, keep all the packing and call the
freight carrier to return and inspect the damage and file a claim. Canine Crate Store is not responsible for damage caused by the freight carrier.
Manufacturers Defects. If a product appears to have a
manufacturer’s defect, please Contact Me. The suppliers and manufacturers are very good about replacing your product for you. Please, do not return products without first contacting me
to receive instructions.
Return Policy:
Return Merchandise Policy - Since the items at Canine Crate Store are shipped to you from various wholesalers and manufacturers, the return policy is different for each particular product. Don't worry, all of this can be done through me. I will take care of the details for you. Something to consider is to Contact Me prior to making a purchase with the item you are looking at, and I will be more than happy to give you the detailed return information policy regarding that specific product prior to you making a purchase.
Permission for any return
merchandise must be approved by the wholesaler or manufacturer of the product (whomever it is shipped to you from). I will take care of requesting approval for you. Please fill out a Contact Me Form
(with "RETURN" in the subject field), and I will send you the return information regarding your product.
Manufacturer's Warranties:
Manufacturer's warranties are honored by the manufacturer of the product and not this store. I am more than help you out with any questions regarding your warranty, and if it is something that requires you to exchange it from where you bought it, I am more than happy to help you get it sent to the correct location for your replacement.
Some General Guidelines for Your Return:
- Shipping Costs, even those for items marked "FREE Shipping" are not refundable.
- Most of the suppliers tend to charge
restocking fee of up to 20% of the price of the product, especially on larger items such as crates, kennels, and pens.
- Unless there is a problem with your product or order, you are usually liable for the shipping expense to return it. If the product is defective, the supplier has always picked up the return shipping charges up to this point. If you received a different product than initially purchased, the
item must be returned with the following:
- All original
contents (product, manuals, instructions, etc.).
- Original
packaging.
- Original
invoice or receipt.
- Sherpa Pet Carriers Return Policy - Currently one supplier of Sherpa Carriers does not accept returns for a refund unless the incorrect item was shipped as a result of my error or their error. Manufacturer's defects may be returned for a refund. Other reasons for returning a Sherpa will not be refunded money. Please Contact Me regarding which carriers fit in this category.
Incorrectly shipped items will be replaced with the correct item.
Notify me with your name and address I can get the correct item on its way to you. Around the same time, I will send you the return instructions for the incorrect item. Usually the incorrect item must be received within 2 weeks from receiving the instructions.
If there are any questions, please don't hesitate to Contact Me. Once again, if you are concerned about the return policy of a particular item, please don't hesitate to ask prior to purchasing it, but the general guidelines above are very consistent with all of the pet product wholesalers and manufacturers that I use at Canine Crate Store.
